Upon arrival in Belize City, check in for the flight to Ambergris Caye. Upon arrival in San Pedro, you will be met at the airport and walk around the corner to Sunbreeze Hotel which faces the Belize Barrier Reef and is just steps away from town. This evening have dinner at the hotel's Blue Water Grill.
This morning, receive an introduction to snorkeling at Tres Cocos followed by a visit to Tuffy Reef. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour to experience Belizean and Central American cuisine, including stops for drinks and dessert.
After breakfast, go snorkeling at Mexico Rocks. This reserve is a shallow patch reef complex that is known for conches, stingrays, Nurse Sharks, and sea turtles. The next stop is Pilar Coral Reef, which is a spur-and-groove reef that is dominated by pillar coral. In the afternoon, take a cultural walking tour of San Pedro, making several stops to learn about the food, culture, arts, and wildlife of the island.
Spend the morning snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark Ray Alley, and Turtle Rocks. The afternoon we visit a school on the island. In the evening, venture out for some night snorkeling. Today, all meals are at the hotel.
This morning, travel by boat to the island of Caye Caulker, with snorkel stops in each direction and lunch on the boat. This evening, enjoy dinner at a Garifuna restaurant and learn about the indigenous culture of the island.

This morning, 8am departure flight to Belize City's Municipal airport; meet our mainland guide, and travel to Orange Walk. Once there, board a boat and travel 26 miles up the New River to Lamanai Archaeological Reserve. Lamanai is known for its impressive architecture and beautiful rainforest setting. The ruins are one of the most interesting and picturesque in Belize. Set on the edge of the New River Lagoon, it is one of the largest Maya sites in Belize and features three large pyramids, a couple of residential areas, restored stelae, and open plazas, as well as a small and unique ball court that featured a large round stone set flush in its center. Later in the day, return by boat to Orange Walk and then continue by land to Jaguar Creek Lodge located in Belmopan. The loge is situated on 700 acres and features comfortable eco-cabanas with private bathrooms with hot water, but no A/C.
Today, visit the Maya sites of Xunantunich and Cahal Pech. Xunantunich is Belize's most accessible Maya site of significance. The site's dominant structure, El Castillo, rises 130 feet above the jungle floor, offering superb views of western Belize. Later in the day, explore the town of San Ignacio and visit its market. The San Ignacio market is a melting pot of the many cultures in Belize. Local vendors sell crafts, household items, and fresh fruits and vegetables, along with many other goods.
This morning, head to the foothills of the Maya Mountains and experience the rainforest in St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park, located within the Sibun Watershed. Explore the forest and journey by inner tube into a sunken underground cave, approximately 300 feet wide and 100 feet deep, to learn about its unique geological features. For those that prefer to go birding instead of tubing, a guide will be available. The park is managed by the Belize Audubon Society and is home to more than 200 species of birds. Have a picnic lunch on site, and then return to the hotel for a farewell dinner.
