Nicole Becker

Favorite travel memory: Going on a night hike through the primary rainforest at Selva Verde and watching her kids get excited about the cool frogs the guide was pointing out. Who would have thought that something so small could be so great?

Nicole has a degree in Political Science and History from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. Go Dawgs! Nicole was born in Caracas, Venezuela and spent much of her childhood traveling from place to place as her father worked with the Agency for International Development. Nicole previously worked at Holbrook from 1998-2004 as a member of the Customer Service team. She loves working with Holbrook Travel as it gives her the opportunity to help spread the joy of travel and showing how small our world really is. In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. While raising three kids, Nicole also trained and earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Bernadette Bernard

Apart from completing English for foreigners in the intermediate level,  Bernadette completed two years of vocational college for business studies. She worked for Air India and Kenya Airways as a secretary/Airport Agent respectively and for Travel Services Seychelles Ltd as their Customer Service Manager until she moved to the U.S. the same year she started working at Holbrook Travel.  Her favorite place to go is still her homeland Seychelles, because her family lives there, but she has also visited Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, France, England & Germany. She loves learning about different cultures and trying different cuisines, and is yet to find a chili pepper too spicy for her.

Kimberly Chaney

Favorite Travel Memory Traveling along the Australian coast on Princes Highway, marveling at natural wonders such as the Twelve Apostles with two wonderful Australians who were gracious enough to play tour guide in their “people mover,” providing picnic lunches, afternoon teas, and proper Aussie baked dinners for my entire stay in Oz. I could not have asked for better hosts and I cherish the time I spent seeing their beautiful country.

Kim was born and raised in Indiana and received a degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism with a Natural Resource Management specialization. Prior to coming to Holbrook Travel, she was a Park Ranger. She had positions in environmental education with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge; as a biological field technician for endangered Red-cockaded Woodpeckers with Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission; and as a research technician with the University Of Florida drafting a U.S. Forest Service stewardship plan. She has also been an active volunteer with the Audubon Society, Florida State Parks, a youth organic gardening program, and with numerous agencies and non-profits in the fields of environmental education, and conservation.Her personal interests include exploring wild spaces, observing wildlife, experiencing different cultures, trying foods from around the globe, visiting art museums, attending concerts, watching independent and foreign films, and volunteering for social and environmental causes. She is a strong believer in lifelong learning. 

Wendy Frazier

Wendy received a bachelor's degree in anthropology and a master’s degree in secondary social studies education from the University of Florida. She was a teacher for a few years before beginning a career in the travel industry. In her current role as Air Manager, Wendy is responsible for leading the air team, strategizing air processes, contract negotiation, ticketing, and booking flights. She has traveled throughout Latin America, Europe, Cambodia, and Vietnam. She is a self-described aspiring yogi and loves hanging out with her husband and pugs.

Carla Moure

Carla has a degree in hospitality and tourism management. While attending college, she was also a supervisor for a hotel, a customer service agent for an airline, and an independent travel agent. After graduation, she spent five months backpacking through Europe to enhance her travel experience and thirst for adventure. She has visited more than 30 countries so far and has traveled throughout the Americas and Europe. Carla was born and raised in Spain and speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Gallego (similar to Portuguese). 

Carissa Reddick

Carissa is a Gainesville native with a passion for diversity. Carissa attended Eastside High School, where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Academics. She then went on to study Spanish and Political Science at the University of Florida and earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2015. Her two favorite subjects are sociolinguistics in the Hispanic world and International Relations Theory. She also served as the Treasurer and Public Relations Director of the Beta Gamma Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society. Her interests include but are not limited to world religions, political science especially international relations, sociolinguistics, spicy food, big cats (especially black panthers), and tea.

Deb Savarese

Deb joined Holbrook in 2004. She started out as the receptionist for Holbrook and then moved to the Road Scholar department in the fall of 2006. She is the Destination Specialist for Road Scholar programs that travel to Argentina, Belize, Chile, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Galapagos, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru and the Yucatan. She has traveled to Belize, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and Peru.

Kaiti joined Holbrook in 2013, but her journey working in the travel industry started years before that. Kaiti worked at both Delta and American Airlines, where her attention and commitment to detail coupled with her in-depth and behind-the-scenes knowledge of the airline industry put her in a unique position to make a contribution at Holbrook. Kaiti’s personal interests include traveling, cooking, and sports. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, either on the lake or exploring local nature trails.
