Enjoy beautiful countryside landscapes on your drive from Quito to Otavalo. Explore the famous Otavalo craft market where locals show their products and crafts for sell. Enjoy closer contact with the community while bargaining for their products. Visit a local indigenous family who will share with you their culture and traditions including; their weaving ability, their music and their ancestral knowledge of medicinal plants. Taste the flavors of the Andean cuisine; enjoy a lunch prepared with typical ingredients and products from the Ecuadorian Highlands. In the afternoon you will transfer back to your hotel in Quito.
