Machu Picchu -- Back to Cusco
Yesterday we toured Machu Picchu and Eddie, our guide, gave us a 2-hour walking tour at the site. There are still many things unknown about MP and yet to be discovered.

Machu Picchu - Made it!!!
Well, we were the last group to enter Machu Picchu sanctuary through the Intipunku on this day. After a couple of quick pics, we caught the last bus down to Aguas Calientes.

Roosters start their day early and if I didn't know any better, I'd say the one in Huayllabamba was trained to wake hikers at 5:30 a.m.

On the Inka Trail - Piskakucho to Huayllabamba
Today is the big day! I will be on the famous trail to Machu Picchu this morning and it can’t happen fast enough for me!
