Read day 6 here. This morning I am awakened by a cacophony of different sounds – what sounds like a far away boom, the howler monkeys quickly join in, followed by the birds and insects.

Read day 4 here. Who needs an alarm clock??? The howler monkeys are out in force at 5:00 this morning.

Read day 3 here. Breakfast is served at 7:00 so I’m up and about by 6:00. As we are eating breakfast a hummingbird comes flitting through the dining room much to the delight of everyone.

Read about day 2 here. This morning it was an early wake up, 5:00am! My luggage was outside my room at 6:00am as requested and then I wandered down to the hotel restaurant.
