Day 8 / June 28, 2013 Today the group hiked to the Macaw clay lick and there was no activity. It had rained a lot the day before and was overcast, which isn’t great for parrots.

There's no doubt that Tom Carr lived a life of adventure.

Day 7 / June 27, 2013 We got this day started right off the bat and had the group get up at 5 am so we could visit the oxbow lake in the early morning.

Day 6 / June 26, 2013 After breakfast at 7 am, we left for the 1.5 hour boat trip back to Amazonia. Frank and I were set to meet our group of grandmothers and granddaughters at 3 pm.

Day 5 / June 25, 2013 Today we went back to the clay lick, but this time we went later in the morning after breakfast, as it was reported to us that during this time of the year the parrots were visit
