The Inca Trail is a bucket list item. When one gets the opportunity to go, you go. We each carry with us our histories, excitement, and nervousness about the days to come. Trekking four days in the footsteps of ancient people, experiencing the soul and emotional cleansing that the Inca experienced is an indescribable adventure. This photo (above) was captured approaching the end of the most challenging Day 2. We had suffered together and cleansed together. Our reward was the exhilarating natural beauty and camaraderie.

This picture (below) was taken at the beginning of our Incan Trail adventure leading us to Machu Picchu. Many of us had butterflies in our stomachs, and we were excited to start our multi-day trek. We had no idea how amazing the experience would actually be and words cannot explain the beauty, rigor, serenity, and sense of accomplishment each of us felt during this amazing trip.
