Our new customer service assistant is Chet Scott, who is a University of Florida graduate with a degree in anthropology. POSITION: CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT Holbrook Travel, a family business established in 1974 on behalf of the quest for global awareness and exploration, specializes in both individual and group travel in over 36 countries across the globe. The customer service assistant is a multi-faceted role assisting such key areas of customer service as file finalization, form entry, answering the phones, checking documents for accuracy, preparing documents for mailings, and assisting with the full body of work of the customer service department on behalf of Holbrook Travel. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience answering phones, providing customer service, data entry, ability to manage multiple tasks, be detail oriented, have an excellent attitude and be dependable. Experience ticketing air reservations is a plus. Please e-mail your resume for consideration. Reporting structure: Position reports to customer service manager Employment: Full-time, seasonal position, November 1 - March 31,  2011 Customer service assistant responsibilities and duties The customer service assistant responsibilities are listed below:
  • Answering multi-line phone
  • Data entry using proprietary software system
  • Printing reports
  • Checking passenger travel documents for accuracy
  • Telephone and written correspondence with our clients to gather missing information
  • E-mail correspondence with our field partners to reserve transportation and hotel accommodations for our clients
  • Prepare travel documents for submission to our mailing department
  • Assist team as necessary and deemed need by manager
  • Assist with air ticketing if possible
