Tomorrow is the start of the 2013 Midwest Birding Symposium in Lakeside, Ohio. Hundreds of bird watchers will convene on the south shore of Lake Erie for the weekend-long “World’s Friendliest Birding Event!”
Holbrook Travel is a sponsor of the biennial gathering, and staff members Laurie McLaughlin and Debbie Sturdivant Jordan will be attending along with trip leader Julie Zickefoose. Debbie will be hosting one of the event’s “Travel Talks” on international birding highlights at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The MBS features local birding, speakers, workshops, seminars, and a comprehensive vendor area. Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on a Holbrook-donated two night Selva Verde package at the silent auction!
