When we were invited to join a herpetological symposium at Selva Verde Lodge in Costa Rica, we jumped at the opportunity. It was time to see if this country was actually the natural paradise it claimed to be. We found 83 species of herps in four places during 13 nights of search. Costa Rica definitely exceeded our expectations. Although we only saw the tip of the iceberg, we now know that the rumors about the natural treasures of Costa Rica are true. But don’t take our word for it.  Visit Costa Rica and put it to test. You will be enchanted.
