Holbrook Travel was established in 1974 and specializes in creating natural history programs for groups and individuals throughout Latin America, Africa and other regions.  Our mission is to establish true connections between the traveler and the nature and people of our destinations. We strive to facilitate these experiences in way that enhances both the traveler and host country’s natural environments and people. We are seeking a talented and inspired individual to join our Customer Service Team as an Air Specialist. The ideal candidate has experience managing air reservations and providing customer service, has excellent communication and administrative skills, is a strategic thinker, is  capable of setting and measuring personal goals and objectives, has knowledge of world geography, is extremely detail-oriented, has the ability to manage multiple tasks, and has a desire to help the company grow and develop as they grow personally and professionally. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Air Specialist will serve as part of the Customer Service Team. The Air Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day air reservations management and customer service for selected accounts with a special emphasis on Holbrook Travel’s Road Scholar programming.  Responsibilities include booking and managing flight reservations, communicating with the Holbrook team, international partners, airlines, and clients, data entry, and filing. The Air Specialist is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service to clients with an emphasis on air reservations management. Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Providing top-notch air-related customer service to clients
  • Communicating in an efficient and organized manner to insure all aspects of client experience are fulfilled
  • Organize information in a timely and detailed manner
  Required Skills, Knowledge, Must Haves and Experience of “A” Player:
  • Proven excellence in Customer Service
  • Proficiency in CRS System such as Sabre, Amadeus or similar. Sabre preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of world geography
  • Knowledge of travel planning
  • Travel experience
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel,  and Outlook
  • Data entry and filing experience
  • Organizational/Time Management Skills: Job may require working on multiple concurrent projects. Must be able to keep work organized to meet project deadlines.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
