Gallery: Rainforest Photography with Jackie Kramer

In January 2020, a group of photographers traveled to the Costa Rican rainforest. They were led by professional photographer Jackie Kramer and united by an affinity for flowers and nature.

Below, Jackie shares a few photographic highlights from the trip, which included visits to Else Kientzler Botanical Garden, the famed hummingbird feeders at Cinchona, and La Paz Waterfall Gardens, as well as a chocolate tasting tour at Sibú Chocolate and time exploring the 10-acre gardens of Hotel Bougainvillea and the gardens and rainforest reserve at Selva Verde Lodge.

Known in particular for her floral macro photography, or "phlorography," Jackie's creativity shines through in the unique imagery she captures with her camera.
