The following posts are a day-to-day journal, written by Todd Gustafson, on his Gustafson Photo Safari to India this year.
Day One
Today was the first day of travel in the Gustafson Photo Safari. We were on the way to India in hopes of seeing and capturing on photo India’s beautiful architecture, natural features, people and wildlife.
We had the easiest trip ever. We each had open seats next to us on the flight to Paris and Delhi. Today was our New Delhi/Old Delhi day that involved lots of stuff we didn't get to see on our first trip. We took a wild rickshaw ride through the old city. There were little shops and all kinds of traffic and people everywhere. We went to beautiful palaces and ended up at a 400-year-old site with a sculpted 300 foot tower, all done in red sandstone.
