Though their remoteness can make these destinations more challenging to reach, the journey is that much more gratifying in the chance to see things found nowhere else on Earth. Isolated research stations, Iceland’s folkloric culture, geological landmarks like waterfalls, volcanoes, geysers, and glaciers, and pelagic bird colonies of tremendous proportions can all be discovered on a Holbrook polar expedition.
