Tom Carr

Job title: Director of Program Development Worked at Holbrook Travel since: 1995 Born: Tegucigalpa, Honduras The son of Archie and Marjorie Carr, both noted zoologists and conservationists, Tom began exploring the natural world at a young age and worked on many conservation projects around the globe. He has been literally everywhere. From flying 70,000 miles over the Bering Sea to video breeding northern right whales, to leading expeditions to the sources of the Amazon River in the high Andes and the Nile and Congo in Africa, Tom has done it all. All of this has set the stage for his unique ability to blend culture, wildlife, and conservation into exciting Holbrook field courses. Tom is responsible for keeping Holbrook on the cutting edge of eco-travel and brings a lifetime of travel experience in Central and South America to Holbrook.
