Lisa Palmese-Graubard

Job title: Specialty Travel Consultant Worked at Holbrook Travel since: 1990 Born: Long Island, New York, but grew up in the Keys
Lisa said she was sucked into the world of travel by Holbrook, and there was no looking back. She has visited 17 countries, swam with sea lions, and been in the middle of a herd of wild elephants. Ecuador is one of her favorite places because of the rich Andean culture, the breathtaking scenery and the beautiful blue water, and the snorkeling and sea lions on the Galápagos. Lisa would still like to visit Italy to learn more about her heritage and the Greek Isles for its scenery and strong culture. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and being a mom to her daughter.

Photo of the Month: November 2025
Above: On the way to see baobab trees at sunset on the red dirt roads in the bush of Madagascar, we stopped as the young goat herders crossed directly in front of us, looking like majestic figures in the sunlit, dusty glow. It felt like the scene of a movie, and this photo captured the feeling of that moment perfectly.
