Lisa Palmese-Graubard and Lindsay Taulbee, two representatives from Holbrook Global Field Expeditions, will be travelling to the “Windy City” for the National Science Teachers Association Conference on Science Education! This event will be held from March 12 to March 15 in Chicago, IL. We are excited to highlight our professional development programs at this conference. Our professional development programs provide enriching, affordable educational travel opportunities that are accessible to all teachers and professionals. Some of the beautiful places we will be having PD workshops this summer include Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, and the Galápagos Islands. We will also have information about our academic travel programs for students. These programs complement students’ academic curriculum while immersing them in a new culture. Some of the types of programs that we offer are science-based investigative field studies, service-learning opportunities, adventure-based learning programs, and interdisciplinary studies programs. A few of the destinations of these expeditions include Belize, Alaska, Costa Rica, Tanzania, Panama, Iceland, the Galápagos Islands, and Peru. A week or so before the event, keep a close eye on Holbrook’s Twitter account. We will be tweeting about the conference, where to find us, and how to obtain one of the merchandise bags we have made especially for you. Make sure to follow #NSTA15 on Twitter as well, to keep up to date on everything this conference is about! We will be set up with a variety of information at Booth 982. We hope to see you in Chicago, ready to check out all that our professional development expeditions have to offer!
