Job Opening: Marketing Manager

Holbrook Travel is seeking qualified applicants for an open position on our marketing team.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and coordination of all marketing initiatives to meet company sales targets, increase brand awareness, and retain business and enhance growth and profitability through traditional and more innovative marketing concepts. This position is also responsible for a lot of hands-on production in terms of web, print, content, etc., so it is both strategy and implementation.

This position is based at our headquarters in Gainesville, Florida.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive understanding, planning, and executional excellence in all aspects of Marketing
  • Provides strategic direction to drive lead acquisition
  • Ensures that new products, promotions, pricing changes, and creative updates are planned and launched effectively
  • Collaborates with IT to ensure the user experience provides consistency, simplicity and value
  • Manages marketing team of 2 staff with regards to performance, training and development, mentoring and productivity.
  • Can both team and project manage as well as execute projects that involve writing, social media, and other areas.
  • Selects and manages external agencies, vendors, and contractors related to Marketing functions
  • Continually monitors lead acquisition, quality, campaign performance & ROI.
  • Develops and manages relevant annual marketing budget and is responsible for financial information for marketing

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a strategic marketing. (Solid understanding of the travel industry, group travel, and/or education industry preferred)
  • Solid experience working with marketing concepts
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strength in InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and Drupal is a plus
  • Inherent sense of accountability for results
  • Understands the business side of marketing and is financially resourceful
  • Utilizes creative solutions by thinking out of the box
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software products
  • Ability to travel to attend workshops, trade shows & training opportunities
  • Ability to multi-task projects and responsibilities and set priorities
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or have the appropriate documentation required to be eligible to work in the U.S.

 

Salary & Benefits

50% Dental and health insurance premiums covered first and second year, 75% the third year, then 100% after completing 3 full years; 2 weeks of paid vacation time, 3 weeks after your 5thyear of employment, as well as 7 paid holidays. Salaries are established at the time of employment, commensurate with skills, experience, position and potential.
