Deb attended the University of Florida and started out as receptionist for Holbrook before moving to the Road Scholar department in 2006.

Among her most memorable travel experiences are her trip to Machu Picchu in 2008, which she says was an awe-inspiring experience that she will never forget.
In 2013 she visited Southern Patagonia on the Chilean side, and found the incredible fjords and glaciers to be breathtaking. "My visit to Torres del Paine was a once in a lifetime experience that I will always remember. The colors were absolutely amazing!"
Her hidden talent is crocheting winter scarves — a rare skill for someone who lives in Florida!
