Traveling in Central and South America

In nearly every corner of Central and South America, Holbrook Travel’s roots run deep. This part of the world has held a special place for us, ever since company founder Giovanna Holbrook led teams of university professors and naturalists on expeditions to the Galápagos Islands before a modern tourism infrastructure existed there. In 1984, she took her love for ecotourism a step further and saved 500 acres of Costa Rican rainforest from destruction, creating Selva Verde Lodge and Rainforest Reserve, which has become in many ways our home away from home.

From the Maya Biosphere Reserve down to Ushuaia, Argentina, we’ve cultivated relationships over many years to provide our travelers with customized and personal experiences. Whether your desire is to journey into the Amazon Rainforest, snorkel the largest coral reef system in the Western Hemisphere, bird the cloud forests of the Andes, or watch the sun set over Machu Picchu, Holbrook can bring your travel plans to life.
