Join environmental educator Linda Freeman on an expedition to the great state of Alaska! This not-to-be-missed program begins in Anchorage and visits the interesting towns of Seward, Homer, Talkeetna and Fairbanks. You will be living in the Denali National Park for two nights in comfortable Kantishna lodging, take a cruise in the Kenai Fjords National Park and learn about Alaska’s fascinating culture and history. Oh and did we mention the bears, moose, wolves, Dall sheep and caribou you are likely to see? Learn about volcanoes, glaciers, marine life and much more.

Linda Freeman has been a friend of the Holbrook Travel since 1995, when she led a teacher trip to Costa Rica. A long-time advocate of the preservation of endangered species; Linda has hosted trips for teachers, middle and high school students so they may have unique experiences, such as swimming with Florida manatees. Her love of lifelong learning has led to sharing her science expertise with teachers on trips to Kenya, Costa Rica, Bonaire, Bahamas, Fiji, Ecuador and Hawaii. The bulk of her 25 year career has spent teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science at Tower Heights Middle School in Centerville, Ohio. Linda’s avocational interests include horses, carriage driving, trail riding and she is co-owner of Driving Digest magazine. Linda lives on a farm with her 5 horses, 2 cats and dog. She remains single, but is willing to negotiate!
