Discover the real Kenya – a land populated by thousands of animals; a place where elephants stride across a sweeping landscape, giraffe graze on acacia trees while great herds of wildebeest migrate across the savanna. Lions loll in the shade until hunger rouses them to stalk and kill. It is a land of beauty and diversity. Here lies a world in microcosm, with almost every known land formation represented including arid desert, fertile highlands, and rolling savanna. The land is home to more than 80 large mammal species - including elephant, lion, rhinoceros – as well as countless smaller animals, birds, reptiles, and insects. This exclusive 16-day program invites you to explore and investigate the flora and fauna of the African bush.

  • Learn about conservation at Amboseli National Park, famous for its herds of African elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro
  • Explore Lake Nakuru National Park and witness the sea of pink—one-two million flamingos in the area
  • Enjoy special guest lectures and visit a local school
  • Learn about Kenya’s coffee industry with a visit to a coffee plantation
  • Experience wildlife viewing at its finest— look for the Big Five – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino
  • Add to your bird list-- you’ll be sure to spot some of the most colorful and unique birds of 1000+ species that call Kenya home
