Bio: Doug Plummer has been a professional photographer of vast, diversified experience for over 25 years. His credits include Discover Magazine, Smithsonian, corporate annual reports and college admissions marketing for dozens of schools, such as the University of Chicago, Barnard, and Williams.
Doug brings an ethic of hard work, engagement and intensity to his photographic life. He is passionate about the medium, and this energy is infectious among his clients and subjects. At the same time, he brings skills of subtlety and tact to his assignments. His sensitivity to a situation allows a deep immersion into the heart of an environment, whether the job is an annual report, an editorial assignment, a college marketing book, a foreign travel piece, or a wedding. In workshops, his philosophy is to teach the technique of connecting with your subject, so that all of you is available when the photograph presents itself.
