This 4-day field-training seminar gives educators the tools they need to take students or colleagues on international field trips. Participants gain the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to confidently lead a successful group experience.

Holbrook wants to make travel accessible to as many active learners as possible. In order to assist educators in their planning for group travel, we have priced this course at our cost. The educational rich content of this course has enabled several participants to find grant money and professional development funds to assist with payment.     Where in Costa Rica are Field-Based Learning Seminars held?

    Held in biologically rich Costa Rica, this affordable course puts you in the perfect setting for science learning. Selva Verde Lodge and Private Reserve will be your 'campus'. It features lush rainforest surroundings and gracious Costa Rican hospitality. It is located in the lush lowlands of northeastern Costa Rica on a very large, private tract of virgin tropical rainforest and rich second-growth habitats. It is adjacent to Braulio Carrillo National Park and the Organization for Tropical Studies' field station, La Selva.
