Holbrook specializes in creating educational and natural history programs for groups and individuals. Major channels of distribution of our product are educational institutions such as schools, colleges, and non-profit organizations. This product is also distributed to travel agents as well as directly to the client primarily in the FIT arena, but also for groups. In addition, Holbrook offers retail travel services to the Gainesville regional area with services ranging from corporate and leisure ticketing, vacation packages sold through other tour operators or created on a customized basis, as well as selling our own tour product where applicable. Holbrook also owns and operates Selva Verde Lodge and Private Reserve in Costa Rica. Protecting some 500 acres of primary forest, Selva Verde Lodge has 45 rooms and offers a whole host of activities including hiking, white-water rafting, bird-watching and more. It is known as an eco-lodge and is rated by the ICT (Institute for Costa Rican Tourism) in their Certificate for Sustainable Tourism program.

Our primary areas of expertise are Latin America and Africa. Countries such as Costa Rica, Belize, Honduras, Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands, Peru, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa are some of the regions in which we create our own programs through direct negotiation. In addition, we also offer China, Japan, Tibet, Iceland, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia, as well as some programs in the United States.

  Holbrook, a local family owned organization, is dedicated to the efforts of sharing our global communities to enrich and understand our environmental stewardship and strengthen our global citizenry.  We are seeking a talented and inspired individual to join our team for the position of Web and Marketing Producer for travel programming.  The Producer is an integral part of the Holbrook Team helping to create and produce the presentation of our values, products and services to a diverse national marketplace.  This position requires a graphic designer fluent with the latest movements in web maintenance and design, web 2.0, print management and design, managing and writing of content.
