How do I earn Referral Credits?
You earn referral credit for each valid new participant or valid new group leader you refer to Holbrook Travel (see below for definition of “valid"). You’ll earn $100 in credits for each new participant you refer and $500 in credits for referring a new group leader. Redeem your credits for rewards like a free trip, a donation to support conservation, or travel scholarships for students in need. See below or visit our website for most up-to-date reward levels. Note: Group Leaders cannot earn Referral Rewards for referring participants on a tour they are leading.
When do my Referral Credits become available?
Referral Credits earned remain as Qualified Referrals until the tour departs for your referral, at which time they become Referrals Approved. Points cannot be redeemed for reward until they are in Referrals Approved status. Referral Credits are non-negotiable, non-transferable and have no alternative cash value. You cannot pool your points with another member to redeem a reward.
What is a valid Referral? What are Qualified Referrals?
New referrals made by a member must be validated by Holbrook Travel before they become Qualified Referrals. A valid new participant or valid new group leader is one that is not already on the Holbrook Travel marketing database at the time of the referral and is therefore “new” to Holbrook Travel. The determination if a referral is already on the Holbrook Travel marketing database at the time of referral is at the sole discretion of Holbrook Travel’s validation process. Once valid, Holbrook will confirm and update the member as a Qualified Referral on the individual member’s referral page.
Do my Referral Credits expire?
Points do not expire as long as you maintain an active account. To keep your account active, at least once every four years you must complete one of the following: lead a tour in the Holbrook Travel with a minimum of six full-paying travelers or travel on a Holbrook Travel Tour as an individual traveler, or make a valid referral. After four years with no tour activity or valid referral, all referral rewards on your account expire.
What redemption options are available?
  • Holbrook Travel Credit: Members may redeem their referral reward credit for travel credit. Each referral credit is worth $2 in travel credit. Credits can only be redeemed when members reach a level of 100, 500 or 1000 credits. Any unused credits will remain in the members account.
