The mission of Ocean Futures Society is to explore our global ocean, inspiring and educating people throughout the world to act responsibly for its protection, documenting the critical connection between humanity and nature, and celebrating the ocean's vital importance to the survival of all life on our planet. Combining academic requirements for field enrichment, carefully crafted field logistics, and close attention to safety, Holbrook Global Field Expeditions is committed to supporting and facilitating the opportunities of students and teachers alike, to experience our natural world and act as global advocates on behalf of environmental literacy.   Together each organization is proud to offer a full series of professional development opportunities on behalf of educators around the world.

These courses are designed to offer:

• Foundational instruction on the principles of ecology, processes of evolution, biogeography, and lessons from nature that can guide us toward sustainable human communities
• Opportunities for peer exchange amongst educators from around the world and throughout the Unites States
  
• Custom designed programming to support OCF priorities for educational outreach and meeting the NCLB Standards of Instruction
